What rewards should I work towards?
http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=m... AKEIQAAAAAAA
If that link doesn't work, please search for my character Momo Fantazindy I'm really not sure which monuments (I think they're called) that I should try to achieve. Which are some easy ones to get? Also if you have any idea how long it takes to get them, please let me know. Just been so long since I've played and I'd like to work towards more stuff for GW2. Thanks in advance! |

Here's a HoM guide that should help you sort things out: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/c...t10454341.html
From the looks of it, though, I think you should work on getting the normal game-play titles (protector/guardian) first to generate the $$$ to put towards other monuments (resilience, fellowship, etc). After that, doing the elite areas (FoW, Urzog's, etc.) and the EotN Rep Titles will add to your point totals and also generate funds for mini-pets, weapons, and what-not. Read through that guide to get a clearer picture of how to proceed, there's lots of options to choose from. |

I still have some questions though - just how much of this is actually feasible to work towards before GW2 is released? Should I set a goal for how many I want to complete? I have no clue how much of a commitment I would have to make to get 30 points. |

It's not really hard to get 30 in HoM. When I started playing GW, 4 months ago, I was finished around 2 months ago with HoM

Sorry one other question. If I understand correctly, I need more tapestries to continue working on the other statues. These tapestries come from playing the EotN campaign? Should I focus on getting these tapestries first?

You could do that, but it's a good idea to get max armor first, as EoTN is all level 20 content. For Nightfall characters, the earliest you can get it is at Consulate Docks (Ferries can usually be found in Kamadan). Factions characters can get it once they reach Kaineng Center. The fastest way for Prophecies characters is reaching Lion's Arch and taking the quest (Mhenlo's Request) that sends your character to Cantha (Kaineng Center)

The tapestry's aren't very important. Even if you obtain things that can be put in your HoM, you don't have to do it right away, you can put them in anytime. Best imo is to concentrate on finishing atleast one regular campaign before going after EoTN. This because of the learning curve involved (EoTN is made as an expansion to challenge people who did the regular campagins).
In my opinion factions is the easiest campaign to finish. only one really hard mission, but that one can be avoided (well not for your HoM points, but you don't need it to finish the campaign) |

Like others have said, your best bet at this point would be to just finish all the campaigns, which will start building some cash, unlock most of the heroes, and get you familiar with the game. I was a bit min/maxy and hopped all over the campaigns to get a really good hero team together. Upside is that you can really move through content, downside is that you don't experience each story as it was intended to be experienced. I didn't mind that too much, it's not that hard to follow the stories. It also made it easier to get master's reward on most of the missions the first time around, instead of having to go back and play through them again to get the titles. You can put off EotN until you just can't stand it anymore, and want to see your numbers go up in the HoM. |

Eye of the North is the most fun to play, go through the primary quests and complete all dungeons don't rush through it or get someone to do it for you just enjoy it, then go for master of the north title.

Thanks guys, I'll work through the campaigns. Is it possible to beat all three of them with just heroes?

Absolutely you can complete all campaigns (and all bonuses) with just heroes. You can do so with just henchmen if you want, although it will be easier with Heroes than henchmen. There's only a few things that might not be possible with heroes (HM elite area's for instance), but the main campaigns and stories should be little problem with them.

I was wondering, approximately how much platinum would I need for the any weapon/armor statues?
EDIT: Also I can't seem to find what rank I need in the Norn title for it to be displayed in HoM Last edited by ultimo; Feb 15, 2012 at 10:44 PM // 22:44.. |

You need to max rank the PVE allegiance titles for them to be in the HoM.
PS : not only can you beat the campaigns with just heroes, you can then do it again in HM, also with just heroes. PPS: I'd suggest doing enough EOTN to get some decent PVE skills, then doing all of the other campaigns first before coming back to EOTN, since EOTN is the hardest of the lot, and doing the other campaigns will get you the skills you're going to need in EOTN.
